Original Moroccan Tadelakt is designed and performed as a one-of-a-kind "haute couture" product, according to shapes; distinguish design, the infinity pallet of tints, minerals, pigments and colours, but also according to the characters and sensitivity that one wants to give to the architecture.

There are only very few world-wide practicing master artists with more than 30 years of experience in the Tadelakt tradition, like Eng. Ralph Budwell. He has also broken the colour barrier, using natural pigments from flowers and rocks. Though deeply fond of the traditional eight basis natural Tadelakt colours, Budwell can do almost anything with Tadelakt colour and texture.
Nowadays the impetus given by the "Tadelaktors" and the Moroccan and Egyptian ancient knowledge has made Tadelakt one of the wall coatings the noblest and the most difficult to implement.

Die Tadelakt Kunst
Die Tadelakt Kunst hat eine jahrhundertalte Marokkanische Tradition wobei überwiegend ein spezieller Kalk aus dem Marrakesch Plateau benutzt wird. Das Wort „Tadelakt“, oder auch „Dellek“ genannt, bedeutet einreiben, wobei das Material selbst fugenlos von Hand und besonders flexiblen japanischen Kellen aufgetragen und verpresst wird.
Nach und während einer gewissen Trocknungszeit, die temperaturbedingt permanent beobachtet werden muß, wird das aufgetragene Material dann zusammen mit einer original schwarzen Afrikanischen Olivenseife und mit polierten Fluss- oder besser noch hochgradigen Halbedelsteinen mehrfach, bzw. vielschichtig mit größter Sorgfalt sanft “eingerieben“. Nach und nach entsteht dann eine wunderschöne Haptik und Optik. Tadelakt ist einzigartig. Bei richtiger Verarbeitung ist Tadelakt absolut wasserresistent und wird oft in Hammams der marokkanischen Riads verwendet. Heutzutage wird Tadelakt weltweit in privaten und gewerblichen Spa Bereichen, für Wände, Säulen und auch für Fußböden genutzt.
