Wir lieben Kunst am Bau und deshalb ist es uns wichtig, mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Passion Projekte zu realisieren. Ein großes Spektrum des Innenausbaues und vor allem unsere außergewöhnlichen Wand- Oberflächen.

Gemauerte Küchen und Wohnlandschaften, Regalwände, gewachste fugenlose Beton/Estrichböden, Holzarbeiten, Handschmiedearbeiten, Kloster-Dielenböden... u.v.m. ergänzen dieses.

Zudem gestalten wir individuelle Spas, Hammams mit begehbaren Duschen, Tauchbecken, Badewannen und Waschbecken - mit authentischem marokkanischem Tadelakt, speziellen Kalk-Zement Techniken oder Sumpfkalk, alles fugenlos „bekleidet“. 

Auch die meisten unserer Beleuchtungskörper sind von Hand gefertigt und oft in die Wände hinein modelliert, integriert mit warmen LED Lichtquellen. Oder unsere selbstgeschmiedeten Eisengeländer, die wir für Treppen, an Aufgängen, Podeste, Zwischenböden und Galerien gestalten. 

Als Baudesigner versuchen wir immer das bestmögliche aus einem Projekt herauszuholen um unseren Kunden eine Einzigartigkeit ihres Auftrages zu bieten.  Wir sehen unsere Aufgaben als Kunst am Baukörper, aber grundsächlich unter der Prämisse,  dass es Orts- und Landschaftsbezogen auch passt. 

Es ist uns wichtig, dass Kunden sich mit dem Geschaffenen identifizieren können und stolz auf ihr Projekt und die damit verbundene Arbeit sind.

Finally, after living for months in our renovated home we would like to give you a feedback of the experience we have had so far which you might use as a recommendation for other customers.

We are so happy with how our house at the Moselle turned out – it is EXACTLY what we were hoping for and more.

We know that the renovation was a great challenge and that is was not easy to fulfil our wishes and expectations, especially with regard to budget and timeline. Even though we know that you had other projects going on, far away from our location, we always felt like we were on your priority list.

We were very pleased with the received updates and that mostly local craftsmen were commissioned apart from you and your team and that we were relieved of the entire control and coordination. We were also very positively surprised by the creative ideas and implementation measures.

The highlight of the conversion are definitely the clay walls in the hall way, the staircase, the living areas and in the bedrooms. They are not only an optical eye-catcher - we’re so convinced by the indoor climate!

It is amazing how fresh it feels in the rooms and how well we sleep. We really did not expect such results. You were so right, the clay structure is fantastic. It absorbs odors, cools in summer and warms in winter. Its true as you mentioned before; more or less 2 to 3 degree it is cooler now in the house, and last winter it was approximately 2 to 3 degree warmer compared to the years before with the same heating system. Also, we recognized a great sound acoustic. Simply great! Thank you again Ralph for your energy and passioned input in our project. We will be happy to recommend you and your team to other clients of you and for future projects we have in mind.

Ralf visited my office on many occasions and was very professional and thorough. His clear explanation of his work made it apparent to me that his was a rare art. He was always "stand by", and on a few occasions he prepared beautiful samples for my clients’ projects. It was clear that Ralf loves what he does and it showed in his work. 

During the course of my own home renovation I was fortunate to hire Ralf to complete. There are many tale signs of a good business and tradesperson and Ralf displayed all of these qualities. Jens and I are more than happy with the result. Especially the bathrooms, the spa and the living and dining rooms with the antique created walls are wonderful and all of our friends and guests are truly impressed. The Spa became the center of our daily life, thanks to you. The Tadelakt is such a beautiful application, that we can’t take our eyes off it. Also we are very pleased with the Venetian work on the ceilings and the Frescos in the niches. It just came out so beautiful. Especially in the night when the light fixtures you hand crafted are on. The Cave dungeon in the basement is magnificent, and I must say, you were so right with the details you had created. We and our guest enjoy every single minute, and this is quite often!

By the way, the projects in the city you’ve built in 2000 and 2003 for us became now a public place. Bill and Sylvia took over. It’s still the same design you built. I know from Bill that they want to extent the place now. They need more room, because the members are growing. Over the pub in the first floor they wish to get additional places. The old beams are perfect to involve them into something special, don’t you think so? 

Also the bar, the restaurant, and all of the 14 guest rooms rooms need a “new” face. Jens and I have recommend you to do the job, as we do anyway to everybody we know. You are a true master of your art! We look forward seeing you again in Oslo at your convenience.

Ralf Budwell is a terrific man; passionate about everything! If you have the opportunity to meet him, take advantage of it. You will inevitably be inspired by his talents and ideas. His enthusiasm for incorporating new technologies with old world materials and techniques is unique. You’ll be spellbound by Ralf and his art. He has traveled and worked on every continent and collected the best from each. He literally carries chests, trunks and boxes of his worldly treasures: minerals, stones, all kinds of different aggregates, shells, fossils and who knows what else from every destination. 

Ralf is a true builder, a master of construction art, part explorer, part archeologist, part librarian, part collage-ist. His knowledge and array of ‘masonry’ techniques and styles are vast, so is his energy and his kindness. 

Ralf hardly stops to sleep once he’s begun a project and he will share everything he knows with you in colorful detail as he works away. Ralf has a great heart, he became a life-long friend on the first day we met, because he cares about everything important. My wife feels exactly the same and we look forward to his return to America so we can welcome him back and celebrate a great meal or two and share his art with some new, unsuspecting clients.

mein Mann und ich möchten Ihnen gern eine besondere Empfehlung aussprechen und uns noch einmal ganz herzlich für die wunderschönen, feinen Lehmwände bedanken die Sie über die letzten Wochen in unserem ganzen Haus geschaffen haben. Die hellen, natürlichen Farben, die Abstimmung zu den Oberflächen der modernen Holzküche und die „Vintage“ aussehenden Oberflächen in ihrer gesamten Ausführung sind einzigartig und genauso wie wir es uns immer gewünscht und erträumt hatten. 
Nicht nur das wir als starke Allergiker nun endlich ein gesundes, wundervolles Raumklima genießen können, nein, es ist auch die einzigartige Haptik die in die Gesamtgestaltung eingeflossen ist. Die mit Lehmfarben gestrichenen Decken sind mit ihrer schattierenden Wirkung und dem hellen Farbton mehr als ansprechend. 
Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch die Lichtgestaltung mit den von Ihnen handgearbeiteten Leuchtkörpern im Treppenaufgang. Eine wirklich gelungene mediterrane Atmosphäre, die vor allem am Abend so richtig behaglich wirkt. 
Zudem möchten wir uns für Ihren unermüdlichen Einsatz und Ihre Zuverlässigkeit bei der Umsetzung, sowie die guten Empfehlungen und Ihr Fachwissen bezüglich gesunder Baumaterialien anderer Lieferanten bedanken, die uns während der Bauphase sehr geholfen haben.

Lieber Herr Budwell,

nochmals recht herzlichen Dank dafür, dass Sie uns aus einer sehr unglücklichen Situation ‚befreit’ haben. Wir würden Ihnen gern darüber ein Empfehlungsschreiben zukommen lassen, denn Ihr entgegenkommendes Verhalten, Ihre Zuverlässigkeit und die schnelle fachliche Umsetzung des Auftrages hat uns sehr imponiert.

Herr Budwell hat uns aus einer sehr unangenehmen Situation "gerettet". Wir hatten zuerst einen selbsternannten „Fachmann“ für authentischen marokkanischen Tadelakt und andere spezielle Putztechniken beauftragt, welcher unser Hauptbadezimmer gestalten sollte. Dieser lieferte jedoch ein sehr unbefriedigendes Ergebnis und das Badezimmer war dadurch nicht benutzbar! 
In unserer Not wandten wir uns an Herrn Budwell, von dessen Existenz wir leider erst viel später erfuhren. Dieser war nach einer Sichtung vor Ort umgehend bereit sich der Problematik unseres Bades anzunehmen und verwandelte die „unfertige“ und unsachgemäß gefertigte marokkanische "Steinhöhle" die sein "Kollege" hinterlassen hatte, in einen außergewöhnlichen Eye catcher, den wir nun jeden Tag auf ein Neues genießen. 
Auch die Wände die nicht mit Tadelakt gestaltet wurden hat Herr Budwell in einer künstlerischen Ausführung neu mit einem wunderschönen Lehm Stucco überzogen. Dieser Putz hat durch die spezielle Verarbeitung der Oberflächen mit natürlichen Wachsen, speziellen ligurischen Seifen und Ölen eine ganz besonders schöne antike Optik, die in Verbindung mit dem Tadelakt unser Bad außergewöhnlich macht. Wir hatten schön Gelegenheit zu sehen welche Kluft nicht nur in der sauberen Arbeitsweise, sondern auch im anschließenden Resultat zwischen den beiden Herren lag. 
Herr Budwell ist speziell für derart individuelle und hochqualitative Arbeiten uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen und wir werden, da sehr bald eine weitere bauliche Veränderung in unserem Haus ansteht, wieder auf Herrn Budwell zurückgreifen.

ich möchte mich bei dir ganz herzlich dafür bedanken, dass du meine Vorstellung der Wandgestaltung in meinem neuen Haus in Es Llombards, Mallorca vollumfänglich erfüllt hast.

Wie meine Wände aussehen sollten, davon hatte ich eine präzise Vorstellung.

Ich wollte keinen normalen Putz, ich wollte Wände, die Wärme ausstrahlen und auch in Patina und Farbe den grosszügigen Räumen eine spezielle Ausstrahlung verleihen. Mir wurden dazu viele Vorschläge unterbreitet, mit denen ich nicht glücklich war.

Zufällig stiess ich auf deine Koordinaten und informierte mich über deine Arbeiten. Rasch war mir klar – das ist mein Mann.

Ich habe jetzt 2 Nächte im Haus geschlafen (gerade erst eingezogen) und ich muss sagen, deine Wände sind einfach der "Hit"! Die machen die ganze Atmosphäre im Haus aus. Dazu das Raumklima! Ich bin begeistert. Auch die Beleuchtungen mit den Lehmoberflächenbeschichtungen sind super. So eine wunderbare Ausstrahlung.

Es war genau die richtige Entscheidung. Während der Zusammenarbeit habe ich deinen hohen Qualitätsanspruch an deine eigene Arbeit und deine leidenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit Materialien, Farben, ökologischen Aspekten und meinen Wünschen sehr geschätzt. Wandgestaltung ist nicht gleich Wandgestaltung. Deine Arbeit, deine Kunst, beweist den Unterschied.
